The Archbishop of Wales cannot evade accountability for the crisis at Bangor Cathedral, while the Diocese of Canterbury continues to botch its elections
Hello! The drip drip of revelations from Bangor Cathedral has continued apace in the last week, and harder questions are now being asked about the role of the Archbishop of Wales Andy John in the growing crisis.
Across the border in England, we finally get some clarity on what exactly went wrong with crucial committee elections in the Diocese of Canterbury, which are holding up the wider process to appoint a new Archbishop of Canterbury. It looks like it was embarrassing incompetence rather than malicious corruption, but it’s still bodes poorly for the Church of England either way.
