Hello! This week’s Critical Friend dives with abandon into the toxic waters of the abortion debate. Well not really, but I do think we need to properly explore whether efforts by pro-choice campaigners to clamp down on pro-life activism might be unintentionally (or intentionally) giving the authorities deeply unwelcome powers to police how some Christians seek to silently and privately express their faith. We also return to another aspect of the Paula Vennells fiasco - the C of E’s obsession with managerialism. Plus, the usual links and podcasts at the bottom.
