Hello! Our first story today is about a quite significant update from the Church of England about the Prayers of Love and Faith. Why have the bishops effectively abandoned any more progress on this and shut up shop?

Then we explore the fury caused when Canterbury Cathedral covered their ancient stone columns with graffiti, and think about the difference between sacred and secular spaces, high culture and low culture.

There’s also my latest podcast (trying to peel back some of the mystery surrounding the doctrine of the Trinity) and a list of links to interesting church news stories from around the web (including this week how do you purify urine off an altar, why should the C of E ban beeswax candles, and a Chinese crackdown on house churches).
