It’s now just weeks away from finally deciding who will succeed Justin Welby as Archbishop of Canterbury, but what is in this person’s in-tray? Facing one of its lowest ebbs, battered by scandal and torn apart from theological division, can the church be saved? What should the new ABC prioritise? And, is there any realistic chance they can steer the good ship C of E back to calmer waters?
